Self-Declaration of Risk Acknowledgment Last Updated: February 2020

I declare and acknowledged that these offers are made under the Guidelines on Recognized Markets issued by the Securities Commission Malaysia pursuant to Section 377 of the Capital Market Services Act and is not made in or accompanied by a Prospectus that is registered with the Securities Commission of Malaysia (the “Authority”).

I should NOT invest in the investments offered unless I fully understand the risks and am prepared to take the risks. I should carefully consider whether this investment is suitable for me in light of my knowledge and experience in financial and business matters, investment objectives, financial means and the risks that I am prepared to take.

I acknowledged that the risks of investing in such investments include but are not limited to the following:

1.    100% loss on such investments

There is a high risk that I may lose all my money on such investments. Investments available through this platform may include the debt funding of early-stage companies or companies without a proven track record. The risk of business failure is high. There is therefore a high risk that I may lose 100% of my investment.

2.    Difficult to cash in or exit such investments

It may be difficult or even impossible for me to cash in on or exit such investments. Such investments are subject to resale restrictions set out under the Capital Market Services Act or the laws of any applicable jurisdiction and there may not be a secondary market for them.

3.    Online platform failure

If the online platform fails and becomes insolvent, my money in this investment may be held back until a third-party backup service provider is appointed to perform the obligations and/or functions of the Online platform operator.

4.    No disclosure requirements

I may not have sufficient information to make fully informed investment decisions. There is no statutory obligation for issuers or intermediaries to provide me with information that I would reasonably require to make informed assessments of offers being made to me. There is no assurance that financial statements from the companies that I invest in will be accurate or accessible. The financial statements of the companies which I invest in may not be subject to a statutory audit. As such, the financial information presented to me may not have been ascertained by a qualified professional auditor. An unaudited financial statement may not accurately reflect the financial health of a company.

I should seek independent professional advice if I do not fully understand the risks of investing in investments offered on this platform or any of the statements above.
